Class Time
Weekly classes explore the history and vocabulary of burlesque in a welcoming environment. Gertie provides just the right balance of both nurturing, and pushing your potential. No prior dance or performance experience needed.

Make your burlesque dreams come to life. With a choose-your-own-path act-development plan, you'll receive support that offers accountability and flexibility. Prepare to embody a burlesque lifestyle!
Celebration
Strut your stuff and share your transformation in a public Showcase. Whether your goal is to get out of your comfort zone and try something new OR jump-start your career as a performer, our burlesque community will celebrate you every step of the way!
Our first course in 2025 was a huge success! The growth and transformation of each performer was a thrill to witness.
What's new this year?
Based on participant feedback and some trial-and-error from last year's pilot program, the course has been updated to provide an even better experience. 2026 includes:

More time between start date and the performance to allow for the creative process to really breathe.

2 extra in-person sessions, including a two hour dress rehearsal.

An updated workbook with more exercises and practices.

A payment plan option as well as a discount for paying upfront.

Scholarship options to make the program more equitable.
