What to expect:
Class Time
Weekly classes explore the history and vocabulary of burlesque in a welcoming environment. Gertie provides just the right balance of both nurturing, and pushing your potential. The course is geared toward new and aspiring performers, but no prior dance or performance experience is required.

Make your burlesque dreams come true. With a choose-your-own-path act-development plan, along with weekly creativity and mindset homework, you'll receive support that offers both accountability and flexibility. Prepare to embody a burlesque lifestyle.

Strut your stuff and share your transformation in a public Showcase. Whether your goal is to get out of your comfort zone and try something new OR jump-start your career as a performer, our burlesque community will celebrate you every step of the way!

Based on participant feedback and in the spirit of growth, the course has been updated to provide an even richer experience.

This Comprehensive Act-Development Program includes:

Eight 90-minute, in-person sessions

A Virtual one-on-one with Gertie

The tools you need to create a Signature Burlesque Act, including a physical workbook

Weekly creativity and self-care homework with accountability check-ins

Direct support from Gertie via email or direct message about your creative process

Verbal and written Act Review before the Showcase

*We will have a photographer attend the showcase to capture the performances. Whether or not the images are actually captured or delivered is outside of Gertie's control. Images are not guaranteed.

Program Investment: $650

Required Group Sessions:
All classes held on Sundays at Ebb & Flow Studios
in Salt Lake City, UT unless otherwise noted.
(Only one absence is allowed in order to perform in the showcase. Please only apply if you are able to attend all of the dates listed below. Gertie will work with you in the case of illness or true emergencies.)
